Up and Coming Courses

With lockdown restrictions continuing to be lifted, we are very excited to announce that the following settings will be open during the Whit Holidays:-

Bishop Wilson

The Firs

St Lukes

St Peters (click here for further information)

Helsby Community Sports Club - *FOOTBALL CAMP ONLY  (click here for further information)

** ALL BOOKINGS need to be made no later than midnight on 23rd May 2021.

The week will be inspired by some well-known characters from ‘The Hundred Acre Wood’ so there will be a wide range of activities for all ages including ‘Winnie the Pooh and Friends’ arts and crafts as well as a number of outdoor ‘Forest School’ type activities and games for the older children. As always, children will also be encouraged to play freely outdoors and join in with some of the varied sports on offer.  (*There will be no arts/crafts/play scheme at Helsby which is solely a football camp).

As with breakfast and after school club settings will continue to follow current Government Guidelines to help reduce any potential spread of Covid-19 including regular handwashing and rigorous cleaning of toys and resources.  We will continue to ask parents to wear face coverings when dropping/picking up children and ask that you remain at the main door where staff will greet your child/ren on arrival.  We also ask that you continue to follow social distancing at all times.  Children are to bring from home their individual water bottles which will be topped up during the day.

If your child or a member of your household shows any symptoms of Covid-19 please let us know immediately, your child will not be permitted access to the setting until they have self-isolated for the required time or have been tested and have a negative test result.

Other important information:

All settings opening hours will be 8.00am-5.45pm (there will be no exceptions to this rule) to enable a full clean down each evening.

The daily fee is £30 (usual preschool prices will apply).

There will be no half day booking option on this occasion.

Children will need to bring a packed lunch, but breakfast and an afternoon snack will be provided.

All sessions need to be booked on iPal no later midnight 23rd May (ideally with as much notice as possible to enable settings to be staffed correctly).

There will be no cancellations/refunds.

Thank you for your patience and support during this continued time of ‘lockdown transition’.  Take care everyone and stay safe!
