Welcome to Stanlaw Abbey Day Nursery. Here at Stanlaw we are passionate about working with children and aim to provide a loving, engaging and stimulating environment for your child as well as a friendly and welcoming environment for you our parents and carers.
We are an open plan setting with three large rooms; each room has their own toileting facilities and garden. We also have an additional shared garden that we are currently developing into a nature garden for exploring the outdoors. In addition, as we are based in a children’s center we have access to a Community café, Sensory room, and large play gym.
We aim to have the best possible relationship with you to ensure the best outcomes for your child. We hold parent’s evenings three times a year to enable you to meet with your child’s key worker away from the busy hustle and bustle of daily drop offs to discuss your child’s holistic development. We are graded good by Ofsted and were inspected in 2022.

Meals
At Stanlaw we understand the importance a healthy, balanced diet for every child, offering a warm meal at both lunch and dinner with healthy snacks too.
Our food is freshly prepared on site in our 5* rated kitchen by a qualified cook. We are able to cater for any special dietary needs your child may have. Please speak to your child’s keyworker on your settling in period.
Our Menus roll over an 11 day period and copies can be obtained from your Nursery team to help you plan meals for your child at home.
