September 2017
Date: 22nd Sep 2017 @ 4:18pm
It has been an extremely busy couple of weeks at S4YC. We have welcomed more newcomers and continued to learn more about each other through our 'all about me' crafts. We have learnt about our homes and who live with us and created a 'ball about me'.
We have also talked about and devised our own club rules (a work in progress by the children for the children) and have explored what it is to be a good friend ending the week by making friendship bracelets.
Our preschool children have had a fabulous time in Seedlings and are really starting to feel at home in their very own special place. After an hours play each night they come back to join us for snack but are really enjoying the time they spend playing with their favourite toys.
We are pleased to say that our football and gymnastics sessions are already extremely popular - we just hope that the weather remains kind to us on a Monday or we will be sending home a lot of soggy children come 4.20pm (don't forget to pack your wet weather clothes footballers!!).
Over on the juniors, children have also been extremely busy making chocolate brownies, getting to grips with the new games on the x-box, playing indoor (soft) ball games and joining in with a number of arts and crafts.
A number of you have enquired about October half term holiday club. If your child is reception age or above you MUST book online. We are no longer able to take bookings in person. Preschool children will need to register with the Seedlings at Woodlands and then book a preschool space during the holiday period. Please follow this link for further information
