Happy St Patrick's Week

Both infant and junior clubs have enjoyed a 'Celtic-themed' week as we have enjoyed celebrating St Patrick's Day through a number of Irish related arts, crafts and activities. Amongst other things we have made shamrock window art, bookmarks, rainbow woven plates and St Patrick's day cupcakes.
The infants went on another Springtime hunt at the beginning of the week searching for daffodils, birds nests and different types of creepy crawlies before coming inside to make some rainbow bead shamrocks out of green pipe cleaners and pony beads.
On Wednesday some children spent time in the preschool room making bookmarks and masks whilst others enjoyed the beautiful weather and played outside. So lovely was the weather that we decided to take our snack outside too!!
Children finished off the week by making St Patrick's Day cupcakes using green candy melts and rainbow sweets.
