24th - 28th October 2016

Date: 28th Oct 2016 @ 3:22pm

After what can only be described as the longest half term in S4YC history I am pleased to say we have finally reached the half term holiday!! We have achieved so much since coming back in September and children have settled in brilliantly.

The juniors have continued to work together over the past few days to choose some new resources and activities for the coming weeks.

They are still keen on having a pet dog in club but have so far made do with an electronic dart board which so far seems to be a big hit with some of the older children.

The highlight of the week was an evening of Halloween games and activities including apple bobbing, pumpkin carving, colouring, pin the hat on the witch and a variety of yummy cakes and sweets.

The infants have also had a busy week playing outside, making paper planes...

... writing and doodling in their new 'friendship' book ...

... making Autumn inspired apple crumble ...

... and participating in a special Halloween dance off.

We look forward to next half term where we will be exploring Bonfire Night, Remembrance Day, Thanksgiving and St Andrew's Day through a number of fun activities, games, arts and crafts.
